Man experiencing mechanical issues with vehicle robbed in Belize City

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Police are investigating a robbery that occurred just after 11:30 am today.

Jason Raynolds told police that he was driving his car on Trinity Street, Belize City and he began to experience mechanical issues.

Raynolds stopped to check his vehicle and was approached by 2 men on a motorcycle.

The passenger of the cycle pointed a gun at him and demanded his chain.

A struggle ensued but fearing for his life, he handed over his chain valued at $1,600.

Investigations continue.
