Belize Weather: Increase in showers

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts cloudy skies today with a few sunny spells and cloudy skies at times tonight. A few outbreaks of showers and thunderstorms will be scattered around the country in the daytime and develop mainly over the south tonight into Wednesday morning.

High temperatures peak at 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 92 degrees over inland areas and 79 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 82 degrees along the coast, 74 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds will be easterly at five to 15 knots and sea state light chop.

Tides will be high at 9:09 this morning and 10:21 this evening and low at half past four this afternoon. The sun sets at 6:18 this evening and rises at 5:35 Wednesday morning.

Skies will be cloudy in intervals on Wednesday with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms in the morning along the coast and in the south.
