One person killed in Vernon Street traffic accident

By Aaron Humes: One person is reported dead following a mishap in Central Belize City this evening.

Preliminary information suggests that a bus ran over an individual in the vicinity of Vernon Street at its intersection with East Collet Canal Street approaching the bridge.

Other details are still forthcoming but the incident took place shortly before 5 this evening.

Investigation is underway.
