San Pedro resident faces charges over altercation and death threats

By Aaron Humes: Marcos Enrique Colon, 30, of San Pedro Town, Ambergris Caye, has been charged with grievous harm, using threatening words, and aggravated assault.

The maintenance worker/fisherman is accused of committing grievous harm upon Francis Everald Pott, with a piece of 2×4 board. He then threatened Pott saying, “If yuh call deh police, I wah kill yuh and if I go dah jail, my soldiers will come ah kill yuh.”

Colon pleaded not guilty in court and was offered bail with no objections of $4,000 or two sureties of $2,000 each. He returns to court on December 1.
