Body found in Macal River near San Ignacio Town

By Aaron Humes: Sometime around 4 this evening a body was retrieved from the Macal River in San Ignacio Town.

Preliminary information is that the male person apparently went swimming in the area and appeared to drown shortly thereafter.

Police investigations are underway.
