Belizean students showcase patriotism in grand school rally 2023

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On Friday, September 15, 2023, thousands of Belizean students countrywide participated in the annual school rally in their respective municipalities.

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology highlighted beautiful photos of students from around the country proudly waving their Belize flags.

The Ministry also highlighted the participation of the educators and students in Orange Walk.

“What you probably don’t know about Orange Walk is that they have one of the BIGGEST and most ENERGETIC children’s rallies!

This year’s rally saw the attendance of over 5,000 students and teachers, 20 parade floats, 370 majorettes, and 13 music boxes,” the Ministry noted.

The Ministry extended gratitude to photographer Diego Grajales for capturing our students’ patriotism and love for Belize.
