Celebrating National Service Day in Santa Elena, Cayo

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Countrywide, Belizeans are observing National Service Day in honor of the legacy of the Father of the Nation, George Cadle Price.

Joining in giving back to his community, Adrian Palma, President of the Belize Youth Movement in Cayo shared a token of appreciation to all educators at Santa Elena Primary.

Palma says that he recognizes the importance of showing appreciation to all educators for their selfless commitment to imparting their knowledge to our future doctors, attorneys, teachers, and politicians.

Palma also contributed volleyballs to Saint Ignatius High in Santa Elena, Cayo.

Palma says that he is committed to supporting and promoting positive youth initiatives including sports that instill good civic pride and citizenship.

In addition, Palma reiterated his support for a strong educational foundation for all Belizean youths.

He expressed gratitude to educators at both educational institutions who contributed to his positive development and growth.
