Minister of Natural Resources distributes 90 lots to Ladyville residents

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez:  On September 19, 2023, Minister of Natural Resources Cordel Hyde and Belize Rural Central Area Representative, Dolores Balderamos Garcia distributed over 90 lots to Ladyville residents.

During the emotional event, Belizeans proudly received their land documents as they became first-time land owners.

“It was a fitting end to the 12th anniversary of the passing of National Hero George Price – the man who championed social justice for people who don’t have land to get land,” the Ministry noted in a statement.

The Ministry continues to engage Belizeans across the country in their mobile land clinics to process land documents.
