Police remove two guns from streets in Santa Elena Town

By Aaron Humes: Police in Santa Elena Town, Cayo District say they have removed two firearms from the streets of the Twin Towns.

On Friday, December 1, between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., police conducted a joint operation within the Santiago Juan Layout area and Bradley ’s Bank,  Santa Elena Town. Subsequently, searches were conducted on an abandoned lot in the Santiago Juan Layout which resulted in the discovery of; a Chrome ARM SCOR 200 Cal .38 Special pistol along with ten live .38 Special rounds, eight Aztec Brand and two PMC brand ammunition. 

Elsewhere, they discovered a black .38 caliber pistol in the Bradley ’s Bank area. 

All properties were sealed, labelled and deposited as found property.
