Police investigating fire in Harmonyville

By Aaron Humes: A property in the Harmonyville community outside of Cotton Tree, Cayo District, was found ablaze on Monday morning.

Police report that farmer Clint Castillo left his home about seven in the morning. Around 10 a.m. he was called by his neighbor to report that his 20 by 22 feet plywood structure with zinc roofing was on fire.

Fire Service personnel extinguished the flames and damages were estimated at $35,000, including the house (valued at $32,000), household items therein and personal documents.

Police are investigating.
