By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The George Price Day 15K race in Belize City on Monday saw Leon O’Brien cross the finish line first with a time of 46 minutes, 27.39 seconds (47:27.39).
O’Brien was followed by Jesus Contreras and Albert Davis, who came in second and third respectively.
Mirta Welch dominated the Women’s category, beating Frankie Reyes and Kimberly Lino, who settled for second and third place.
The Men’s Junior category was won by Jaylen O’Brien, who outran second-place Michael Lord.

Alexis Banner was the champion of the Masters 40+ category, while Marvin Hope claimed the title of the Masters 50+ category, with Chester Arzu as the runner-up.
Dorsha Sabido was the top finisher in the Women’s Masters 40+ category, followed by Kristelle Young and Pauline Daniels, in that order.
Lucelly Ramos won the Masters 50+ category, followed by Manira Wilson in second place.
