Mayor Robert Mariano Zone Basketball Tournament finals set for Sunday, February 4 in Dangriga

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Hopkins Uarani and Ghans Stars will clash in the final of the 1st Annual Mayor Robert Mariano Zone Basketball Tournament on Sunday, February 4.

Hopkins Uarani defeated the Placencia Reapers in the semifinals on January 20, while the Ghans Stars eliminated the New Site Raiders.

Action on Finals Night will begin at 8:00 pm at the Russell ‘Chiste’ Garcia Auditorium in Dangriga on Sunday with the third place match between New Site Raiders and Placencia Reapers.

The Final between Hopkins Uarani and Ghans Stars match should tip off at about 10:00 pm after an entertainment show following the third place game.
