Police investigate attempted burglary at Cayo Cargo in Esperanza Village

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Police are investigating an attempted burglary at Cayo Cargo in Esperanza Village, Cayo.

According to police reports just before 7pm on February 9, the supervisor at Cayo Cargo heard someone trying to open a locked glass door.

The supervisor heard someone shaking the door and when she checked, she saw a tall man with his face covered holding a gun and pointing it at her.

Fearing for her life, she then ran into another office where she locked herself and called the police.

Police visited the scene and obtained finger prints.

Investigation is ongoing.
