Belize’s Ambassador to Taiwan participated in launch of Belize Puncar Tour in Taiwan

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, Belize’s Ambassador to Taiwan, Dr. Candice Pitts participated in the launch of the Belize Puncar Tour.

The launch was held at the Taipei Children’s Amusement Park.

The Belize food truck goes on tour around northern Taiwan from April 2nd until May 12th, and making a total of 18 stops at various locations.

Belize’s Puncar Tour features cacao paste pancakes made from Belize cacao beans, Belize cacao and rose tea, and Taiwanese style fried noodles complimented by the delectable Belize Marie Sharp hot sauce.

In her remarks, Ambassador Pitts indicated that food is the universal language of Love that everyone understands and that culinary diplomacy and gastrodiplomacy are some of the best ways to reach, connect, and bond people.

The purpose of the Puncar tour is to help promote Belize cultures and promote people to people understanding between Belize and Taiwan.
