New newly built dormitories inaugurated at Belize Defence Force Compound in Price Barracks

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, the first of two newly constructed dormitories was inaugurated at the Belize Defence Force Compound in Price Barracks. 

Each dormitory can house up to 60 soldiers and is equipped with bunk beds and lockers, shower and bathroom stalls. 

The new buildings are being constructed under the Belize Integral Security Project, a BZ$60-million project funded by the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI). 

The second building is expected to be completed in a month.
