By BBN Staff: The Attorney General, Micheal Peyreffite explained today that establishments that hold a public and special license are allowed to open but must operate as a restaurant.
The public and special license allows certain businesses to serve food with liquor and allow visitors to just sit and drink. However, under the new Statutory instrument, these holders of public and special license will open.
But, the establishments will open and operate as restaurants meaning that the same rule applies to only serve liquor with food.
” If you had a public and special license and weren’t serving food none at all, you need to start to serve food now or you have to remain closed,” the AG noted.
