Disturbing incest rape incident in Santa Familia

Wednesday, September 30^th, 2015. BMG: Two male persons of Santa Familia Village in the Cayo District are currently in police custody after disturbing reports involving a younger female relative.

The two men, a 26-year-old and a 21-year-old, have been arrested after their 13-year-old relative reported that her older brother, 26, and cousin forced her to have intercourse with the 21-year-old cousin.

The Guatemalan teenager in the company of her mother, reported to police that it happened on two occasions, with the first time being September 4th, 2015 and the second being the next day. She reported that her brother forcibly took her into her cousins’ room who lives at the same residence, and it was there her cousin raped her.

A medical examination certified that the girl had been carnally known. Both men are presently in police custody pending charges of “RAPE” and “Abetment to Rape”.
