Monday, September 1, 2014. PATRICK E. JONES Reporting: One person sustained injuries when a pickup truck overturned this evening on the Placencia Road.

According to information received, the accident happened near Santa Cruz and photographs obtained from the scene show the pickup truck extensively damaged.

Reports say that the driver who was alone in the vehicle sustained two large gashed to the forehead.

A doctor who arrived on the scene shortly after the accident gave a preliminary diagnosis of a broken shoulder and collar bone.

The driver, whose name has not yet been confirmed was taken to the hospital by doctor.
