GOB press officer allegedly involved in late night accident

Thursday, September 11, 2014. AARON HUMES Reporting: Police are yet to confirm but reliable sources indicate that there was a late night traffic accident in Belize City around Mile 1 on the George Price Highway.

A member of the Government Press Office, one Fortunato Noble, is alleged to have crashed an SUV into the metal post sitting in the middle of the highway at the entrance of the city.

Noble was reportedly under the influence of alcohol but escaped unhurt.

The vehicle matches the description of the Press Office vehicle that Noble usually drives, but it appears that the vehicle’s license plates were removed, allegedly by one of Noble’s friends who took him away from the scene.
