Man charged for attempted murder

Friday, October 3, 2014. AARON HUMES Reporting: Ron Myvett, a resident of Central American Boulevard, was charged with attempted murder when he appeared today before the Chief Magistrate, Anne Marie Smith.

Myvett was also charged with dangerous harm, use of deadly means of harm, discharging a firearm in public and aggravated assault.

He was remanded into custody until November 28.

The attempted murder occurred on August 11.

The complainant, Calbert Budd Jr. reported to the police that Myvett shot him while he was riding his bicycle on Iguana Street.

Myvett is alleged to have discharged a firearm on May 15, while he was on Antelope Street.

Myvett is also alleged to have pointed a firearm at Gareth Hemmans Jr on May 15 while he was on Antelope Street.
