Supreme Court Opening

Monday, January 12, 2015. AARON HUMES Reporting: Belize’s Judiciary marked the ceremonial opening of the 2015 legal year this morning.

The pomp and ceremony started with a church service at Wesley Methodist Church followed by the procession of attorneys, Judges and Magistrates to their place of work.

Commissioner of Police

The ceremonial tradition of presentation of the members of the Court and inspection of the Guard of Honor by Chief Justice Kenneth Benjamin was held on Albert Street in front of the Supreme Court building.
