Coast Guards recover over 24 pounds of weed floating at sea

By Chrisbert Garcia: A Senior Chief of the Belize Coast Guard visited San Pedro’s Police Station yesterday around 3:00 p.m. and handed over a sack containing 12 kilograms or just over 24 pounds of cannabis which he found while on maritime patrol.

The Coast Guard officer told police that around 1:30 while on patrol, he found the sack floating in the sea. It was then labelled and deposited as “Found Property”.
