By BBN Staff: Ladyville resident, Abraham Teck, 41, reported to police that sometime between the hours of 9:45 and 11:00 on Friday night, his Chevy Equinox vehicle was broken into and items were stolen from inside.
Teck told officers that while parked in front of a restaurant on the Philip Goldson Highway, someone gained access to his vehicle by breaking the rear left glass, causing $900 in damages.
A Dell laptop valued at $3,500, a Swiss laptop bag valued at $200, a Belizean Passport with United States Visa valued at $370 and a Heritage Bank debit card valued at $25, valued at a total of $4,995 were stolen.
Police are investigating.
