By BBN Staff: The Belize National Teachers Union has confirmed to BBN that strike action will begin on Monday, October 3.
BNTU is continuing with its countrywide annual meetings to discuss negotiations with the Prime Minister. The San Ignacio branch will meet on Tuesday and the Benque branch will meet on Wednesday.
BNTU’s Toledo branch will meet on Thursday.
After all the branches have met and are made aware of the current status of negotiations with the PM, industrial action will commence next Monday.
