DigiCell 4GLTE to be launched on Friday

By BBN Staff:  Belize Telemedia Ltd. will be launching its new DigiCell 4G LTE network on Friday with an event to be held at the BTL Park in Belize City.

The event will feature BTL booths selling 4G LTE-ready devices at “super-low” prices, according to the company. DigiCell customers with existing LTE-ready devices are encouraged to visit one of the booths to get a free LTE uSIM upgrade.

BTL advises its customers to visit the booths between 2-6 p.m. Customers must also bring along a valid ID.According to BTL, its 4G LTE advanced network is the only one in the region.

The company will also be offering Double-Up specials from $1 – $20. The first 200 DigiCell customers to visit the booth will be given data complimentary to experience the new network.

The event will also feature live entertainment from Belizean superstars including the General, “Supa G” and singing sensation Ernestine Carballo. There will also be a song competition to win a $1,000 prize courtesy the Music Ambassador of Belize.

There will also be giveaways throughout the day and the entertainment will extend through to the night.
