By BBN Staff:Reports reaching our newsroom indicate that health workers had to provide medical services on the verandah of the community center in the Village of San Jose Palmar, Orange Walk District for clinic day.
This morning, residents were upset because when community health workers arrived, they found themselves with closed doors.
Residents claim that the Village Chairman closed the space in the Community Centre that was set aside for a community clinic and refused to give the key for access.
Thus, patients had to be treated on the verandah of the building.
