Two men charged for murder of Keona Ara

By BBN Staff : Two (2) men have been charged and are expected to be formally arraigned in court tomorrow morning for the murder of 18 year old Keona Ara.

They are 22 year old Jaime Patnett of a Belmopan address and 20 year old Teakettle resident, Shaylon Santos, who is also a recent ex-boyfriend of Keona.

No charges have yet been filed against the young lady in whose home the clothing of Keona, and bloodstains, were allegedly found.

Keona was stabbed multiple times and her throat cut before her killers burned her body in an attempt to conceal her identity.

Keona was laid to rest today in Ontario village, a stone’s throw from her home in Blackman Eddy.
