Kashief Gallego charged for King Street murder

By BBN Staff: Kashief Gallego, 25, was on Friday charged for the murder of Jermaine Franklin.

Franklin was gunned down on Wednesday evening as he bought a DVD at Teddy’s DVD rental on King Street in Belize City.

Gallego, who resides not too far from the murder scene, appeared in the Magistrate Court and was arraigned for a single count of murder. He was remanded to prison until August 23.

Police investigators used video footage from nearby businesses to identify Gallego.
