Police bust Valley of Peace couple with almost $34,000

By BBN Staff: Belmopan police yesterday busted a couple from Valley of Peace village with $33,995 in unaccounted cash.

The couple was busted by the Quick Response Team acting on information received. According to police, the Income Tax department has since become involved in the investigation.

There have been no charges brought against either of the two people detained as yet. Police investigations continue.
