Burning tires block Haulover Bridge this morning

By BBN Staff: BBN received confirmed reports of tires burning on Haulover Bridge in Belize City this morning.

Vehicular traffic was blocked from passing as a result of the burning tires for a short period of time.

Police have just confirmed that the National Fire Service put out the fire and cleared the bridge to allow for the free flow of traffic.

Police have issued few details regarding the incident. It is not yet clear what the purpose of the action was or who was involved.
