Air Canada flights to Belize commence today

BBN Staff: Today, Air Canada had its first flight from Canada to Belize. The new route was announced in May of this year along with five other new routes.

The continued expansion of the airlines network routes includes flights from Toronto to Belize.

Flights are now available for purchase at aircanada.com and through travel agents.

Passengers on the first flight were welcomed today at the Philip Goldson International Airport with traditional Belizean cultural presentations.

Present at today’s event was Minister of Tourism, Manuel Heredia Jr., representatives from the Belize Tourism Board and Air Canada.

Flights from Toronto to Belize City will be available weekly.
