Gungulun man stabbed last night

ong>Last night around 7:11, police visited Moe’s Pizza Grill located on 3 1/2 miles Phillip Goldson Highway, Belize City where a man was seen suffering from a stab wound.

The man was  identified as Sherman Sanker, 43, a Belizean of Gungulun area.

Sanker had a stab wound to the center of  his chest and one apparent stab wound to the left side of his back.

Police investigation revealed that about 6:45 p.m., Genevevo Chiac and Sanker were socializing at Moe’s Pizza Grill restaurant when they got into a misunderstanding and Chiac stabbed Sanker.

 Sanker was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he is listed in a stable condition.

Police investigations continue.
