Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller visits cadets

BBN Staff: Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller is a Belizean-born boxer that has made a name for himself in the boxing world.

Miller was born in Belize but moved to Brooklyn, United States. Miller has now returned to Belize to visit relatives and tour the country.

Yesterday, Miller visited the Belmopan police cadets. Miller explained to the cadets that his life as a child was very hard but told them “champions don’t quit.”

Miller also shared his experience that it is important to have support for their dreams.

Despite his hardships as a child, that did not stop Miller from becoming a boxer which was his dream. He told the cadets that he never stopped working hard until he reached his goal.

Miller presently boasts 20 wins, 1 draw and is a contender for the world heavy weight title.

Officer commanding Belmopan police, Sr. Supt. Howell Gillett thanked Miller for motivating the young cadets to strive for the best.
