Minor arrested for early morning shooting in Belize City

BBN Staff: Today, police charged a 15 year old boy with the attempted murder of Karl Lamb, 37.

On Saturday, Lamb was in front of his residence on Gladden Street, Belize City and at around 4 am the minor walked up to him and opened fire.

Lamb was struck in the leg and was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and remains in a stable condition.

According to police, they have not yet established a motive for the shooting.

The minor will be arraigned in the Belize City Family Court and remanded to the Wagner’s Youth Facility this afternoon.
