Over $14,000 in company cash stolen from Brodies employee in Orange Walk

BBN Staff: Orange Walk police are investigating a robbery of over $14,000 in cash belonging to James Brodies and Company from a vehicle belonging to an employee.

Ashton August, 30, salesman of James Brodies and Company reported to police that his car was vandalized
sometime between Thursday, May 10 at 10:00 p.m. and Friday at 7:00 a.m.

The cash amounted to $14,375.41 in different denominations.

The money was reportedly placed inside a deposit bag under the driver’s seat.

Police are investigating.
