Waitress robbed, brutally attacked in Stann Creek

By BBN Staff: Stann Creek police are investigating the robbery and attack of a 22-year old waitress from Hopkins village, Stann Creek.

The incident occurred last night around 8:15, Roxanne Crawford told police that she was walking on the main road of Hopkins village when a man with his face concealed, pointed a gun at her.

He demanded her to hand over all her belongings.

He took her bag containing documents, a cell phone and some cash valuing approximately $500 total.

A struggle then ensued between Crawford and the thief, who punched her in the face, leaving her bruised and swollen.

Police investigations continue.
