Man in serious condition after being knocked down by drunk driver 

Staff: Walter Blanco, a resident of Santa Familia in Cayo is in a critical condition at the KHMH after being hit by a drunk driver on Saturday night. 

According to reports, Blanco and his friends were going home around 8:30 PM on Saturday night when a drunk driver in a jeep knocked him and his other friends down in Santa Familia. 

The drunk driver did not stop to help and headed towards Bullet Tree Village. 

Blanco’s friends reported the incident to the Bullet Tree Police Station and so the man was stopped and arrested by the police in Bullet Tree. 

A source told BBN that Blanco received severe head injuries and his shoulder was also broken while his friends received minor injuries. 

The drunk driver is a resident of Billy White Village. 

Blanco is currently in an unconscious state in the hospital.
