UB targeted by armed robbers!

BBN Staff: With the Christmas holidays just weeks away, there is always a surge in property crimes.

However, no one predicted that the University of Belize which educates our nation’s children would be targeted in this anticipated surge.

Our newsroom has confirmed that in the wee hours of today, four armed men entered one of the university’s campuses in Belize City.

The men reportedly held up the security on duty but it is not yet known if they made their way into any of the school’s buildings.

It is also not known if they relieved the security guard of his service weapon.

At this time we are only able to confirm that the men made their way to the compound via boat.
