Police investigating home invasion incident in Guinea Grass

y BBN Staff:Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred yesterday morning in Guinea Grass Village, Orange Walk District.

Veronica Quetzal, 59, told police that around 1 am yesterday, she was sleeping at her home when she felt that someone covered her mouth.

When she woke up, she saw three men inside her house and one of them had a machete.

The three men then proceeded to search her the entire home and stole an assorted amount of jewelries, cell phones, and cash in different denominations.

Police investigation continues.
