BBN Staff:  Ten-year-old Jalen Young passed away just after 10:00 a.m. today.

Channel 5 Belize aired the story of little Jaylen last week as a child with Brainstem Gioma.

Brainstem Gioma is a tumour that paralyzed Young. He was diagnosed in September of 2018 and his condition was steadily deteriorating.

As of recently, Jaylen used his eyes only to communicate with his family.

BBN extends condolences to the family and friends of Jaylen Young.
