Man shot at Zeta Gas compound

BBN Staff: On Friday just before 3:00 a.m., police visited Zeta Gas company at 13 1/2 miles on the Philip Goldson highway.

There officers saw Omar Diaz, 50,  suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach.

Initial investigations revealed that Diaz was doing runs at the compound when he heard dogs barking.

When he responded to the noise he was shot by an unknown man that approached him.

Diaz was later transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Police are yet to determine a motive for this incident.
