Man dies after being hit by ambulance in Southern Belize

BBN Staff: Last night there was a fatal road traffic accident in southern Belize.

Francisco Rash was somewhere near the highway in San Isidoro, Toledo when he was knocked down by an ambulance.

The ambulance was reportedly transporting patients from Punta Gorda, Toledo to Dangriga, Stann Creek at the time of the accident.

It is not yet known what may have contributed to this fatal mishap.
