Orange Walk Mayor calls on authorities to bring justice for the murder of Dwayne Cummings

BBN Staff: Yesterday, the Mayor of Orange Walk Town, Kevin Bernard issued a statement extending his condolences to the family and friends of Dwayne Cummings.

Cummings, a promising UB student, and football player was gunned down yesterday morning in the area of San Lorenzo Road in Orange Walk.

The Orange Walk community is mourning the loss of the young man’s life and seeking justice for him.

“We implore the Orange Walk Police Department to investigate and bring to justice the perpetrator/s of this heinous act. We ask anyone who has any information to speak up,” the statement from the Mayor said.

The Mayor further encouraged residents to be their ‘brother’s keeper’.
