Posted: Monday, February 11, 2019. 10:23 am CST.

BBN Staff: Peace Diplomats from Heavenly Culture World Peace Restoration of Light (HWPL) based in Washington D.C. are in Belize city to kick off the first leg of a Caribbean Peace Tour.

The group is currently in Belize to commemorate Peace Education week.

The diplomats will establish Ephesus SDA Primary School as a peace academy.

HWPL’s D.C. office is partnering with Caribbean and Latin American countries to bring free peace education programs to local schools within each country, which will enable youth to incorporate peace building initiatives in their everyday lives.

HWPL peace diplomats will work with students of all ages to guide them through hands-on activities to acquire the heart and skills needed to peacefully resolve conflicts and to understand the value of human rights, intercultural understanding, freedom of religion, and the greater opportunities that result from peace and stability.

HWPL peace diplomats will also meet with key figures of Belize such as Supreme Court Justice Courtney Abel, Minister of Education, Patrick Faber, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, foreign service officer Carlos Clarke.

The group will host Peace Education workshops today and tomorrow at Ephesus SDA Primary School in Belize city.

The workshops will commence at 10:00 a.m. and end at 12:00 p.m.
