BBN Staff:Accused murderer, Orlando Salazar, 27, has been acquitted of all charges and is now a free man.

He was accused of the 2017 murder of Windel Gibson Jr.

Gibson and Karron Santos were in the Conch Shell Bay fish market when two men on a motorcycle rode up to them and opened fire.

Gibson died on the spot while Santos suffered minor injuries.

Salazar was subsequently charged with ‘murder’, ‘attempted murder’ and ‘maim’.

However, during trial yesterday the Department of Public Prosecution indicated that it did not want to continue the case against him.

Joel Choco, 22, who was also charged with Salazar remains in prison.
