Ambassadors and a High Commissioner present credentials to Governor General

By BBN Staff: This morning, the Governor General of Belize, Colville Young received letters of credence from ambassadors and a high commissioner accredited to Belize.

 The group included Viktor Koronelli, Ambassador of the Russian Federation; Ezekiel Sabor, Ambassador of the Republic of Argentina; Iván Medveczky, Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary; and Anton Ojala,  the High Commissioner of New Zealand.

The ambassadors and high commissioner conveyed on behalf of their respective countries well wishes to the Government and people of Belize and their commitment to ensuring continued peaceful and prosperous diplomatic relations with Belize.

Young warmly welcomed each of the diplomats and expressed that Belize shares their same interests in diplomatic relations and cooperation.

Young also offered expressions of condolences to High Commissioner Ojala on the recent tragedy in Christchurch, New Zealand.
