By BBN Staff: Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred on April 5, 2019 in Belize City.

Ruhiel Trejo, 26, told police that about 1:15 p.m., he was exiting his residence with his mother, Ermelinda Bey, when 2 men approached them.

One of the men was armed with a gun and robbed them of 1 Iphone7+ and $2,000 cash.

The total value of items and cash stolen is $3,200.00.

Police are investigating.
