Man shot over borrowed money

By BBN Staff: A 21-year-old Stann Creek man was shot yesterday evening in Belize City.

A police report indicates that Harry Stanley Montero, 21, of Stann Creek gave Aaron Flowers some money that he owed him.

Flowers was not satisfied with the money so he took out his gun and shot Montero to his leg and then hit him on his head with a gun.

Flowers instructed another person that was with him to search Montero.

The man searched Montero and took a phone valued at $100, $340 in cash and a gold chain valued at $700.

 Police are investigating.
