Rotary International donates $5000 to police

By BBN Staff: Today, Rotary International handed over a cheque of $5000 to the Belize Police department.

The generous donation will be used for the “Police Youth Mentorship Program 2019”.

The Police Youth Mentorship Program is an initiative by Commissionerof Police, Chester Williams.

The program focuses on youth intervention/life-skill and youth leadership development with children from ages 10 to 17.

The program will benefit children from high risk communities in Belize City.

The fourth cohort of the Youth mentorship program will commence on May 10, 2019.

The Police department thanks Robert Usher, President of Rotary Club of Belize & the members of the club for supporting the Police Youth Mentorship Program.
