Kolbe inmate shot while attempting to escape

By BBN Staff: Reports to our news desk indicate that an inmate of the Belize Central Prison is dead after he attempted to escape this morning.

Inmate Kevin Moore, who was remanded for aggravated assault on April 2, 2019 attempted to escape the Belize Central prison when he was shot by a prison officer.

Moore was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for medical treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.
